Deputy head of Kharkiv patrol police failed to return from vacation abroad — while oblast police chief keeps his post despite scandals
Police lieutenant colonel Yaroslav Diiank, the de facto head of the Kharkiv oblast patrol police directorate, failed to report for duty on September 7 after a vacation abroad and, according to an anonymous source, has not returned to Ukraine. His post has already been filled by an officer from Poltava region, while oblast police chief Petro Tokar keeps his post despite a string of corruption scandals.
