Media Visnyk is an independent, privately published news project reporting from Ukraine for an international audience.

A separate English desk

The English edition is not an automatic translation of the shared Ukrainian-Russian feed. It has its own agenda: war and society, corruption, human rights, democracy, authoritarian practices and everyday life during wartime.

Our purpose

We aim to show what is happening, who is affected, what evidence supports each claim and where uncertainty remains. Human experience is central to our reporting, but suffering is never used as decoration.

Ownership and funding

Media Visnyk is owned and responsibly edited by Ivanov Oleksii Sergiovich. It is published by a private individual, is not registered as a company in the Netherlands and currently has no external funding. Material advertising, grants, donations or other significant funding will be disclosed if introduced.
